HOW TO GET STRONG NAILS.

Stop biting your nails.
Biting your nails is detrimental to your health. Although a regular nervous habit for many, it can cause bacterial skin infections on your hands and in your mouth.

Any glaze that you use on your nails must be removed at night so the nails can't breathe.

Don't cut or manipulate cuticles.

Hydrate the cuticles with oil. rub a moisturizing cream or olive oil into the cuticles daily to reduce breaking.

Eat a healthy diet. a balanced diet with plenty of vitamins and minerals from food should be enough to avoid nail problems.

Use your own manicure tools only. Anything that touches your nails should be used on your nails only.


Even a professional nail salon may not clean its instruments properly. Bring your own tools or ask the salon staff to sterilize their instruments.
